Gates will close for entry at 10pm each night.

During the eclipse, from 1:49pm through 4:22pm all generators in the RV and vending areas must be shut down, and all vendors are encouraged to take breaks and experience the eclipse. We ask that all guests join us at the Sun stage for a pre-totality experience by Mononoken followed by a post-totality experience by Jason Richmond. Totality will occur from 3:05:24 PM and end at 3:08:50 PM. During totality, we ask all present to remain silent to experience totality together! Also, expect birds and other animals to become silent, your dogs may act confused, insects like crickets may begin to make sounds they usually only make at night, shadows of the moon will appear as crescents, and anyone wearing particular colors like red or green may become more or less radiant. Remember, for your safety, do not look at the sun without your eclipse glasses! The only time you can look toward the sun without the glasses will be during totality, but please be aware of when totality ends, as the human retina does not have pain receptors and permanent damage to your eyes may result from looking directly at the sun. Be safe!

All vendors will accept cash on site as the preferred payment method, as internet service is expected to be slower than normal due to increased traffic on local networks. Cash is also preferred for any ticket sales or or festival merch purchased on-site. Some vendors will accept third-party payment methods such as Paypal or Venmo, and some vendors will be able to accept offline electronic payments. However, there is no ATM at the festival, so please come prepared if you plan to pay on site for any food, merch, services or tickets.

All ages are permitted. Children 12 and under are free: one per paying adult ticket. A discounted ticket is available for teens, ages 13-17.

We have been in touch with the county fire chief who expects hundreds of thousands of visitors along the path of totality in Indiana – SO PLEASE PLAN AHEAD — we expect traffic to be absurd in the region. We also expect local grocery stores and other services to be overwhelmed. Please plan extra time to get to and from this area, ESPECIALLY if you are traveling on the day of the eclipse, Monday, April 8th. Traffic is expected to be at a standstill on most major roadways after the eclipse. Reports from the 2017 eclipse in western KY suggest travel times will triple or quadruple on Monday afternoon. We would love it if you stayed with us Monday night to avoid the traffic, but if you can’t, please fill up your gas tank and be prepared for travel delays. We cannot stress this enough. On March 28th, Governor Eric Holcomb declared a state of emergency for the State of Indiana for April 8-9th, 2024. Officials anticipate “widespread and significant impact” on Indiana’s “critical infrastructure systems,” including for communication, emergency response and transportation, according to the order. Guests are welcome to bring whatever food and drinks they prefer. Glass bottles are not allowed, though. The Vendor Village will be located along the main thoroughfare between the Sun and Moon stages. There, you can find all sorts of handmade wares from local small businesses. Food vendors on site will include The Hungry Turtle, Fork'n Farm Food, and The Beer Syrup Co. (Coffee and other non-alcoholic drinks). Yes; but only in cans. Glass is not permitted. There will be no alcohol sales at the event, so please come prepared. Several grocery stores and gas stations in Brownstown (10.4mi away) , Bedford (17.7mi away) or Seymour (20.6mi away) have ample alcohol selections. Travel in this region will be severely impacted on the day of the eclipse, Monday, April 8th.

Fires are permitted in rings and pits; campers may bring their own. No open fires. Firewood will be available for purchase or campers can gather downed wood.

Sure, sleep where you want. The electric RV campground, Glamping area and Artist camping area are reserved for those guests, respectively. Other areas of the grounds are available for general admission campers. Choose your own adventure!

BOONDOCKING/DRY CAMPING SITES AVAILABLE Boondocking RVs are also allowed in a large open lawn with a spectacular view of Black Swan Lake. An RV upgrade must be purchased along with your admission ticket. Generator quiet hours are from 10pm-10am. AS OF 3/15/24 ALL ELECTRIC SITES ARE SOLD OUT. Electric RV Camping Area can accommodate travel trailers and small RVs. Sites have access to electricity hub (20A & 30A) and drinking water in the campground. Most of the sites there are level, some have a fire ring, a couple have picnic tables, and all of them have views of the lake. First-come, first-served.

Yes! Volunteers from the Jackson County Fire Department will be on site to assist with First Aid and any medical emergencies that may arise.
